Our History

Supplying is in our DNA

The 80’s in Britain was a time for great change. The UK was about 10 years into a Construction boom as the country modernised and the population began to grow significantly.

FIS (Factory Improvement Supplies – our previous name) was born and supplied technical construction products to support Britain’s now famous Construction Industry.

Our Growth

Specialising in Excellence

Whilst we originally distributed the products of established global brands in the space, in the early 2000s following feedback from our customers, we saw an opportunity to produce products that not only competed with the larger conglomerates, but with a local, specialist market view.

So we grew into a company that could provide the quality of products of a larger brand, but with the ability to react to new standards, and provide the local support the larger brands were unable to offer.

The technical team were always able to suggest a suitable product for use during installation and also products for any additional repairs required in a very prompt manner. Premcrete do an excellent job of providing technical support to VSL on the HS2 project and ensuring smooth supply of various materials. Premcrete have been chosen from a lot of other suppliers as the ones who fully comply with site specification. As per project request, Premcrete developed a new chemical formula for Epoxy Resin Eponite EP to fulfil site requirement in relation to application onto the concrete surface. Also, bespoke size packages have been offered in order to reduce the waste of material. With priceless assistance from Premcrete, numerous shear key concrete tests have been carried out as requested by the client designer for the clarity of production sequence. I would like to highlight the great communication and client orientation attitude from the Premcrete specialists, which allowed us to sort the unexpected issues on time with no delays to the project schedule.
