PREFLEX UR is a single-component cold applied, flexible, self-levelling joint sealant, which has been designed for use in sealing concrete expansion and movement joints. The mixed sealant is applied by pouring into horizontal joints and is usable on slopes up to a maximum gradient of 3%. PREFLEX UR has excellent chemical resistance and is UV resistant.
PREFLEX UR is used for sealing movement and expansion joints in concrete pavement areas, where a flexible seal is required. It remains permanently elastic after curing and has very good adhesion to many materials. It is highly resistant to hydrocarbons, making it suitable for use on petrol forecourts, refuelling depots, airport hard standing areas and other areas where oil spillage may occur.
