Beacon Academy

Beacon Academy is the most oversubscribed school in North East Lincolnshire, so the expansion plans were welcomed to increase its capacity by 125 pupils.

The Challenge

• The client needed a heave protection system that gave the same sustainable properties as the specified product on the drawings, but needed to be installed in wet conditions and supplied in 600m wide panels to suit the ground beam widths.

The Solution

• Supplied our revolutionary VOID-TEK VT50 system which is unaffected by water and were able to manufacture bespoke sizes in record time.
• VOID-TEK was a sustainable option, able to be installed in waterfilled trenches and the bespoke size meant the client could build faster with reduced cutting onsite.
