Belgrove House

2024

The Challenge

Located at the centre of the Knowledge Quarter opposite the iconic King’s Cross and St. Pancras train stations in Camden, Belgrove House is set to become a new specialised office and laboratory building for the life sciences sector.

The scheme is designed to be innovative, highly sustainable and an example of carbon emissions reduction in construction.

The Challenge

  • Reducing carbon emissions and considering the existing structure and links to the existing underground were challenging: particularly when it came to the design.

The Solution

  • Premcrete’s in-house design team uncovered the best solution possible for the waterproofing needs of the substructure.
  • By utilising Maxiprufe Plus in particular (manufactured on site at Premcrete’s HQ), reduced carbon emissions by cutting out international imports.
