Description

HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR is a high-performance, fourteen-layer co-polymer thermoplastic membrane designed to provide an effective barrier against rising damp, moisture, and ground gases including Methane, Radon, Carbon Dioxide, Hydrocarbons, and VOCs. Manufactured using advanced co-extrusion technology incorporating dual layers of Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (EVOH), it ensures exceptional gas resistance and durability. The flexible yet robust material is suitable for installation in perimeter cavities and load-bearing walls, integrating seamlessly with other PREMCRETE waterproofing and gasproof systems. Fully compliant with EN 14909:2012 and BS 8485:2015 + A1:2019 (Table 7).

HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR is manufactured from co-polymer thermoplastic membrane and is designed to provide an effective barrier to rising damp and moisture as well as low levels of carbon dioxide and radon. It is effectively installed into masonry to form a damp-proof course or cavity tray. HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR exhibits excellent tear resistance and provides a flexible yet robust barrier for use in conjunction with other PREMCRETE waterproof and gasproof membrane systems.

Uses

HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR should extend through the full thickness of the wall and must be laid on an even bed of wet mortar. Special care should be taken to make sure that the HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR does not become damaged or punctured during the construction phase. HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR lap should be a minimum of 100 mm and taped together using HYDROPRUFE HCR BUTYL TAPE. Cavity tray laps to pre-formed cavity tray units, must be a minimum of 100mm and bonded using HYROPRUFE HCR BUTYL TAPE. PREMCRETE TERMINATION STRIP should be used when the construction program or the design requires the HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR to be post or surface fixed to the cavity face of inner leaf. The surface should be first primed using HYDROPRUFE PRIMER before applying a line of HYDROPRUFE HCR BUTYL TAPE to the substrate. The HYDROPRUFE DPC-GR should then be embedded into the tape and fixed securely using the PREMCRETE TERMINATION STRIP and suitable fixings at 300 mm centres.
