The Store House

2024

The Challenge

The Store House, Leeds, is the former House of Fraser store, which will be redeveloped into a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) scheme.

The Challenge:

  • The Grade 3 basement between the existing buildings desperately needed a design and products that would work with the existing building and basement.
  • Grade 3 is a scenario where no seepage is acceptable. Damp areas as a result of internal air moisture/condensation are tolerable; measures might be required to manage water vapour/condensation.

The Solution:

  • Premcrete’s CSSW design team were able to support the customer at early stages of the design, and have the suitable products to fulfil this. Utilising years of technical knowledge and in-depth product knowledge from our manufacturing site in Hampshire, UK.
  • Premcrete’s Maxiprufe Plus and Hydrocrete were utilised for effective and efficient waterproofing solutions for this project.
