This former nightclub was demolished to make way for a new 70,000 sq ft office building development. This project required a waterproofing design for the retained basement which could be applied internally, meet the requirements of BS8102:2009 and come with a full warranty.
Premcrete products were able to produce a waterproofing design which met the budget and the stringent requirements of BS8102:2009. Premcrete proposed the use of an internal cavity drainage membrane and a crystalline cementitious coating applied to the retained basement structure. This structural waterproofing system was suited to the project and was flexible in application allowing installation to dovetail with other trades whilst guaranteeing a robust and maintainable waterproofing solution.
